About Ikshanaa

A foundation built around what happens after the help.

Ikshanaa Social Foundation works with families, students, patients and street animals across regions TO BE PROVIDED. What sets the work apart is not what we give, but what we ask afterwards.

How Ikshanaa started

Founder’s account TO BE PROVIDED  This section is built for 300 to 400 words in the founder’s own voice: what they saw, what they tried first, and the moment the give-back idea took shape.

Keep it concrete. One incident told plainly will do more for trust than a paragraph of mission language. Name the year, the place and the first person helped, if they consent to it.

What guides us

Mission, vision and values

Our mission

To support people through genuine hardship in a way that restores their ability to act, and to invite them to extend that support to someone else.

Our vision

Communities where help circulates on its own, and where needing support once does not mark a person as dependent.

Our promise

We publish what we receive and what we spend. Where a figure is unverified, we mark it rather than round it up.

Dignity first

Nobody explains themselves to receive help, and nobody is photographed at their lowest point.

Contribution over charity

Being asked to give back is a statement of confidence in a person, not a repayment.

Local before large

Work starts with the people already in a neighbourhood, not with a programme designed elsewhere.

Honest accounting

Unverified is not the same as unknown. We say which one applies.

Our team

The people who run the work

Staff, programme leads and the volunteer coordinators behind each region.
